Tanner moved to San Diego from Calabasas to apprentice under Joshawa Elsas. Being Filipino and Korean, he’s driven to learn more about his culture and the deeper meaning behind Polynesian tattooing beyond just design. He focuses on clean, intentional work with strong linework and solid composition. Tanner approaches each piece with attention to detail while keeping the process honest and collaborative. His goal is to create tattoos that flow naturally with the body, hold meaning, and build a strong foundation through the IslandTAT method.
