Project Objective
Composed freehand by Joshawa — leg sleeves
Composition & Anatomical Flow
A leg composition is mapped to the calf and thigh masses. Pattern weight sits on the outer sweep of the leg where it is seen in movement, bands wrap to follow the muscle rather than cut straight across it, and spacing behind the knee is opened up so the work stays clean as the joint flexes.

The Freehand Method
Every tattoo at IslandTAT is designed freehand on the body — no stencils, no transfers. This body-flow design approach ensures the composition follows natural muscle contours and bone structure, producing work that looks powerful from every angle. The result is a tattoo that belongs to the wearer's body, not just sits on it. This piece was composed by Joshawa Elsas.
