    The Story

"Being Chamorro and Mexican is a huge part of who I am…"

My name is Maddy Tellez. Being Chamorro and Mexican is a huge part of who I am — it makes my work special. Tattooing has given me the chance to connect with people who share similar backgrounds and cultures, which is really important to me.

I'm always striving to improve my work — I want to push myself to be the best artist I can be. But my ultimate goal is to spread love through my designs. There's nothing more fulfilling than knowing that my artwork is bringing joy to other people.

One of the things I love most about my job is the family-like atmosphere at IslandTAT. Working around such talented and kind-hearted people has helped me grow as an artist and as a person.

When I'm not tattooing, you can find me reading books, blasting music, playing piano, hitting the beach, and spending quality time with my loved ones.
